laughing with you...

You are fueled by laughter! I love how you can make a sound or say a word and it can make you bust into full belly giggles! I have tried to conform you many times, thinking I need to train the crazies out of you. I truly don't want that, I just have to re teach myself what it means to be a child. You know Jesus talks about having faith like a child... I have a lot to learn from you in these next few years bugs... you are going to be such an awesome little guy to watch grow... I've watch you shoot up like a weed over the past six months.

But now its so fun to watch your mind grasp new concepts and thought processes. Everyday you say some particular word that surprises me... and not because its the first time I've heard you say it, its because you use it in context to your sentence so well... Its pretty great to watch you while you are playing, or coloring, or cutting up paper... When you catch me looking at you... you always say "Mom why are you looking at me that way..." Its hard for me to explain... accept the fact that its in those moments that I am trying to mentally absorb all I can of you at this age. I can take a million photos and capture tons of video... but I will only have you at 4 years old in this specific season of life. I don't want to miss it. So I watch you and smile.

Thanks for teaching me how to laugh with you. You just keep laughing and I finally catch on.
